Crain’s Chicago Business Names Jocelyn Brumbaugh a 2026 Notable Leader in Communications
Builden founder Jocelyn Brumbaugh has earned a place on Crain’s Chicago Business’ 2026 Notable Leaders in Communications list. The list recognizes Chicago-area communications leaders who drive change in their roles and lead beyond their own organizations.
Jocelyn founded Builden in 2014 to give law firms the people, processes and tools they need to grow their business through marketing. She has since grown it into a 20-person team that has worked with nearly 100 law firms and earned back-to-back spots on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies. Beyond Builden, she founded the Legal & Professional Services Council, a trade group for legal communications and marketing professionals that reaches more than 400 legal marketers.
“I started Builden to help law firms turn their marketing efforts into a revenue-generating machine, and that remains our goal every day,” Jocelyn said. “I’m grateful to the Builden team and our clients for making this work possible.”
