Meet Maren Menefee: Builden Partner’s Legal Marketing Intern
While participating in Builden Partner’s internship program, DePaul University business student Maren Menefee supports the firm’s mission to change the way attorneys think about marketing strategy.
Maren composes web articles, conducts research for attorney opportunities and develops social media content, and her work has exposed her to cutting-edge strategy within legal marketing. During her two semesters of interning, she has continued to develop organizational skills and professional writing capabilities. Maren recently accompanied founder Jocelyn Brumbaugh to share insights on the intern hiring process with a Principles of Public Relations class at Loyola University.
A senior at DePaul University Driehaus School of Business, Maren is a member of the honors marketing cohort, where students complete consulting projects for Chicago-area businesses. She also serves as a marketing ambassador for DePaul’s marketing department, planning and promoting events and encouraging student enrollment to the department’s concentration programs.
Maren graduates in June and looks forward to continuing her work in marketing strategy. In her free time, Maren enjoys live music, baking and exploring the city for new restaurants and music venues. A Milwaukee native, she moved to Chicago in 2016, noting that she admires the assortment of many unique neighborhoods to discover.
Based in the firm’s Chicago Loop office, Builden Partner’s internship program offers college students the opportunity to interact with a variety of clients in the legal industry. Interns prepare internal communications, social media content and press materials, and also conduct research projects for clients.
