Sandra Richardson is a growth-focused operations executive with a career spanning legal marketing, enterprise software and venture capital. As Builden’s Chief Operating Officer, she is responsible for scaling the firm’s operations infrastructure, including work processes, systems, financials and people management, as Builden continues its high-growth trajectory.
Throughout her career, Sandra has focused on leading growth strategies to launch new products, scale businesses and build high-performing cross-functional teams. She has worked across a range of industries, including legal, software and professional services, and has served as a Partner at a venture capital firm and Managing Director of a lower middle-market mergers and acquisitions firm. She is also the co-founder and operator of a SaaS enterprise work management platform and the author of The Deal Machine: Creating a Scalable B2B Sales Process for Explosive Growth.
Sandra’s contributions to the business community extend beyond her executive roles. She served as a founding board member and chair of the marketing committee for the Washington, DC Technology Council, and is a frequent judge and committee chair for the Stevie Awards Entrepreneur Science and Technology program.
She is the recipient of numerous awards recognizing her leadership in culture, operations and entrepreneurship, including Mentor of the Year, Best Woman Run Workplace, the Entrepreneur Leadership Award, the Zeus Award for HR Innovation and Great Bosses of Washington, DC. Her companies have appeared on the Inc. 500/5000 list five times.
Sandra holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from New England College. She lives in St. Augustine, Florida.
