Abby Moriarty brings more than 15 years of experience to Builden having worked in-house at two Am Law 100 firms and at a B2B public relations agency focused on the professional services sector. She counsels clients on marketing strategy and projects, as well as public relations campaigns.

Her deep industry experience allows her to anticipate client needs. With a focus on exceptional client service, Abby provides valuable strategic counsel on internal and external communications strategy including marketing, media relations, content projects, thought leadership, social media campaigns, business development, research and market intelligence, crisis communications, executive positioning and project management.

At Builden, Abby leads key client accounts, shaping marketing and PR strategies and overseeing client teams to ensure key milestones and day-to-day tactics are impeccably executed. She is energized by working with lawyers who are responsible for shaping and interpreting laws and steering business operations that impact our world. Abby is driven to uncover her clients’ unique stories, attributes and credentials that will lead to compelling marketing and PR campaigns.  

Prior to joining Builden, Abby was a Vice President at Greentarget where she led client management and was responsible for developing and executing strategic plans that align directly with client business goals. She contributed to strategic and creative development of tactical programming, and implemented all writing, research, and media projects. Her clients included global law firms and healthcare startups.  

Prior to her PR agency experience, Abby provided external communications support, including media relations, thought leadership and other external communications tactics, to law firms McDermott, Will & Emery and Jenner & Block, as well as Navigant Consulting, which has since been acquired by Guidehouse.  

Abby earned her M.A. in Public Relations and Advertising from DePaul University Chicago and her B.A. in English and Communications from Loyola University Chicago.

Abby lives in the suburbs of Chicago.
